A Working-Day Cost Planner for Uber and Bolt Drivers

A Working-Day Cost Planner for Uber and Bolt DriversDriver Earnings

A good week is easier to understand when you know what it costs to keep working. A simple cost planner helps you compare weeks without confusing platform earnings with money available after expenses.

Separate fixed and variable costs

List the amounts you owe for the period regardless of how many trips you complete, such as an agreed weekly rental charge. Put costs that change with use, such as fuel, in another section. If a fee depends on an earnings threshold, record the rule from your agreement instead of treating it as fixed.

Deposits belong in a separate cash-planning line. Paying a refundable deposit affects the money you have available, but it should not automatically be counted as a consumed weekly operating cost.

Use your actual working days

Imagine a seven-day rental costing 700 PLN, with 350 PLN spent on fuel and a hypothetical 100 PLN fee for that week. Those selected costs total 1,150 PLN. Spread across five working days, they represent 230 PLN per working day; spread across four, they represent 287.50 PLN.

These invented amounts are a comparison exercise, not GoRush prices or an earnings forecast. Insurance arrangements, parking, cleaning, repairs, taxes and other costs may need separate treatment depending on your situation.

Keep the planner small enough to maintain

  • The exact dates of the week being reviewed.
  • The number of days you actually worked.
  • Rental charges for that period.
  • Fuel transactions belonging to the same period.
  • Agreed partner fees and other identified costs.
  • Any adjustments carried from an earlier week.

Reconcile fuel receipts and card transactions before entering a single total. If an expense already appears in the partner settlement, mark it as included so that you do not deduct it again when reviewing the amount received.

Use the result for planning, not as a guarantee

Compare several completed weeks rather than relying on your busiest day. A quieter week or time away from work can change the picture quickly. The planner is an organisational tool and does not replace tax advice or establish a minimum achievable income.

Before renting through GoRush, ask for the current vehicle price and terms and put those actual figures into your own worksheet.
