Statutory withdrawal
For qualifying distance contracts, a consumer generally has 14 days to notify withdrawal, without giving a reason. For goods this normally runs from receipt; for services from contract conclusion. Send a clear statement to info@gorush.pl including your name and booking/order reference. The statutory model form may be used but is not compulsory.
Date-specific services and refunds
The statutory withdrawal exception may apply to car rental and non-residential accommodation booked for a specified day or period. It does not automatically cover every bicycle, motorcycle or residential lease. Other cancellations are assessed under the accepted agreement and mandatory consumer law. For a valid statutory withdrawal, reimbursement is generally due within 14 days of notice; for goods the seller may withhold reimbursement until return or proof of dispatch. Applicable return costs and any lawful proportional charge for a service begun at your express request must have been disclosed beforehand. Security-deposit deductions require a contractual or legal basis. Contact GoRush for the settlement of an expired reservation; an automatic status change is not a refund decision.
Requesting a cancellation
Contact GoRush through the published contact channels and include your reservation reference, service dates and the change or cancellation requested. We will identify the applicable booking conditions and explain any amount already received, outstanding charge and refund assessment. Cancelling a reservation is separate from deleting a customer account. Keep the confirmation of your request.
Temporary holds and incomplete payments
A vehicle may be held temporarily while a payment is pending. The booking shows the payment deadline. If the required balance is not completed by that deadline, the hold may be cancelled and the vehicle released. Reminder delivery does not extend the deadline. If a payment reaches us after the hold ends, the transaction requires review; payment alone does not recreate availability or authorise collection.
Consumer withdrawal rights
A statutory right to withdraw may apply to a qualifying distance contract. Its application depends on the type of service and the circumstances in which the contract was concluded. Under Polish consumer rules, the usual distance-contract withdrawal right has exceptions, including specified-date accommodation and car rental. This does not remove rights arising from a failure to provide the agreed service or other mandatory protections. Ask us which rule applies to your booking before concluding the contract.
Refunds and security deposits
A reservation payment, service charge and vehicle security deposit have different purposes. We assess refunds under the accepted agreement and applicable consumer law, including the reason for cancellation and services already supplied. A security deposit is assessed after the agreed vehicle return and settlement checks; any lawful deduction should be explained and supported. No statement on the website creates a blanket rule that all payments are non-refundable.
Payment errors and duplicate charges
If you believe a payment was duplicated, provide the reservation reference, date and payment reference rather than a full card number. Online payments received after an administrator has already confirmed the same hostel period are flagged for review and do not advance the accommodation period a second time. Refund processing times depend on the original payment method and the provider or bank.
Changes and disputes
A request to change dates, room or vehicle depends on availability and agreement on any price difference. Preserve the original booking and subsequent written confirmation. A cancellation disagreement can be submitted as a complaint and does not prevent use of statutory consumer remedies.
