It is easy to settle into a room and assume you can stay another week or month. Before making plans around that assumption, check availability and agree on the next accommodation period with the team.
Send a precise extension request
Give your name, current room or booking reference, the date your existing stay ends and the new end date you want. If your plans are uncertain, say so. The team can explain the options without mistaking an enquiry for a confirmed booking.
Ask whether the extension can be in the same bed or room. A room move may be needed because of another booking, a change in occupancy or maintenance. Confirm that before paying.
Check the next period and amount
The next payment should have a defined start and end date. Ask whether the current rate continues, whether the deposit arrangement stays the same and when the payment is due. Avoid combining several different dates into a message that only says “monthly payment”.
- Availability for the full requested period.
- Confirmation of the room or any planned room move.
- The amount charged for the new period.
- How an early payment or existing credit will be allocated.
- The updated expected departure date.
Keep the payment and acceptance together
If you pay by transfer, use the reference requested by the accommodation team and retain the confirmation. Ask the team to acknowledge both the payment and the dates it covers. A transfer screenshot by itself may not confirm that a particular room has been reserved.
If you receive a reminder after paying, check the covered period before making another payment. Send the receipt and ask whether the record needs updating. Paying twice can be harder to untangle than asking one clear question.
When your departure date is still uncertain
Ask about shorter extensions and their conditions rather than committing to a period you may not use. Confirm any cancellation or early departure arrangements directly; they depend on the booking terms and should not be inferred from a general article.
For a GoRush stay, request an extension before the current period ends. You can also review the accommodation options if a different room would better suit your next few weeks in Warsaw.
