If you are considering a Lithuanian residence permit and also expect to spend time in Poland, start by separating your travel plans from your work plans. A residence card issued in one country does not automatically answer every question about employment in another.
Visiting Poland is one question
A valid residence permit issued by a Schengen country can generally support short visits to other Schengen countries, subject to the applicable conditions. The European Commission describes the general allowance as up to 90 days in any 180-day period for those visits. Check the official guidance on moving between EU countries before planning your dates.
Carry the required valid travel document and residence documentation. Permission to reside in Lithuania should be understood in relation to the permit issued and its conditions.
Working in Poland is a separate question
Your ability to take employment in Poland depends on the relevant Polish rules, your status and the type of work. A Lithuanian residence card alone should not be treated as a general Polish work authorisation. The Polish Office for Foreigners explains that work rights depend on the underlying residence permission and any required employment authorisation in its residence card and work guidance.
Specific categories, including certain mobility arrangements, can have additional rules. Those require a check of the actual documents and circumstances.
Match the application to your real plan
Before paying for a service, explain where you intend to live, where the work will take place and which employer or business arrangement is involved. Ask which permission supports each part of that plan and who is responsible for obtaining it.
Keep the answer tied to your particular situation. Advice based only on another person's residence card may overlook a different status or exception.
